Kristian was fantastic. He arrived timely on the day of the appointment, discussed our roofing history/issue, inspected the roof, and noted potential issues and explained his thoughts with photo support. One obvious issue he found was a roof gap left by the builder that could be the culprit for our roof leak. The necessary repair was small and something that we could have likely done ourselves (albeit inefficiently, after climbing on a steep roof, and with no guarantee it would have been done well or correctly). Instead, Kristian texted us later that same day and offered to return the next day to take care of it for us, because of rain forecasted in the area. And he did -- during the lunch hour the next day, he dropped by and quickly resolved the issue. He refused to let us pay for his time/effort, noting it was $10 of materials from Home Depot, an easy repair, and he was happy to do it to make sure it was completed prior to the rain. So, we paid him with a couple of chocolate chip cookies and thanked him for his follow up and quick work. Seems like a bit of a rarity these days to find this type of service and thoughtfulness. This kind act has created a loyal Amstill customer who will (a) given them a call whenever we have an issue in the future, and (b) mention them to anyone who asks for a solid reference for a roofing company.
